But sadly their story is one put on hold, for they both aren't ready for the next step just yet, pressing pause to take care of business and preparing themselves for more. This short erotic read really had no ending just the promise of what is to come, it's something I will continue at some point, but there wasn't enough "tease" to draw me into the next book immediately.

Reading this before book one would have made it lose its punch - I would have been kind of lost as all the world building and character type explanation is done in book one. So personally, I would recommend this be read after book one, if not book two. View 2 comments. Aug 25, Alisha rated it did not like it Shelves: paranormal-romance , books-i-hated , free-kindle-ebooks. The only good thing I can say for this book is that it was short! I'm not typically one to strongly dislike a book but for this I have to make an exception!
Fallen angels who lost their wings and souls for falling in love with a mortal. So they are turned into Vampires.
And what the heck, why not throw in some rabid lycenthropes too?! I feel like my hands just suffered from some kind of freaky finger diarrhea just from typing that! The main charactors are nothing to rave about either. The The only good thing I can say for this book is that it was short! They fall madly in love with eachother, again based on nothing.
All of this dispite the fact that the main man is described as a womanizer who will have quicky sex with any willing and available woman. There was nothing believable about this book and nothing engaging enough to encourage me to suspend my disbelief.
But I did like the cover art. View 1 comment.
It was too short a read for me, and would it be too much to have sequel or can it be here so I can just say onto the next, without a doubt though I was hooked from the moment Kim hit on Raze He's dark angel and all, and she's all prim and proper, but the combination that these two create just makes it more wow. Raze is one of the "Fallen," an angel fallen from grace, stripped of its wings and soul, leaving behing an immortal blood drinker who cannot procreate. He is the only one of the "Fallen" who has never experienced the love of a human. He has insatiable appetites of another kind though, and feeds them nightly. Raze is a "hunter" and hunts and kills the outlaws of the vampire nation and their minions.
He has done this for hundreds of years, but this job in Chicago has him feeling out of his Raze is one of the "Fallen," an angel fallen from grace, stripped of its wings and soul, leaving behing an immortal blood drinker who cannot procreate. He has done this for hundreds of years, but this job in Chicago has him feeling out of his element, until he meets Kim. Raze walked into the dimly lit bar looking for an outlet for this nervous energy that had been piling, and he was looking to expend it in his usual way with his usual target. The curvy, blond bartender with the waist length dreadlocks and tatoos down both arms was just the antidote to his current condition.
At least, that is what Raze thought until the beautifully elegant black-haired beauty approached him offering her own cure.
While Kim was sure to be the cure for Raze, Raze was also going to fill some of the emptiness in Kim's life. While they both only planned on one night of passion that would drive them to exhaustion, they were in for a whole lot more. A novella of quick and steamy lust. An interesting story of fallen angels interspersed with a complicated relationship to vampirism and shifters.
eywaapps.dk/I/wp-content/fire/a-touch-of-lightning-the-books-of-eldingar-book.php Although the basis of the story was interesting, I felt as if the real story had just gotten started when it ended. It ended right in the middle of the newly blooming relationship between the hero and heroine. I'm more than a little confused, to say the least. It was a very frustrating ending. View all 3 comments. It was so average and boring, that I was close to giving it 1 star. The characters are characterised below - Raze: a paranormal law enforcement agent.
